Well, I don't have much of intereset to post about, but I guess we haven't posted for a month so I thought that I would let you in on one of my highlights from last week. I don't know how many of you have spent tireless hours as a youngster looking through patches of clover in order to find that ever so elusive four leaf clover, but I know I must have spent some considerable recess time looking for one. Sadly that dream was never realized and I pretty much gave them up as impossible to find. Well, my faith was renewed when I read an article about a forest ranger who had collected a whole bunch of them throughout his lifetime. Anyhow, last week I was eating my lunch outside the local library and I was staring down at the ground at a patch of clover. Then, in a thrill that I have never experienced before, I realized that right before my very eyes was the object of so many childhood dreams. Yes, I found one. I immediately plucked it and put it inbetween some pages of my book for safe keeping. The funniest part is that the fourth leaf is a lot smaller than the other ones. I am still counting it. However, I do wonder if that means that it is a little less lucky than a more equally distributed one may be. Anyhow, I don't have a picture of it, but I do have a handmade illustration. I hope you enjoy it. Also, for those that have given up hope or stopped believing, let this be a lesson to you.
