Halloween or tons of pictures of Eve

So, Eve is starting to be an even greater character than would be expected knowing her parents.

She has started to army crawl in addition to rolling and actually has found some trouble on the floor (like the heater behind her). And just about everything goes for her mouth.

You can just see her little mind plotting trouble.

This has to be the longest string of drool. Ever.

Sandi did a great job making Eve's owl costume. Even though I didn't want to hear anything about it until the first of this month.

She can't even resist putting the deliciousness of felt in her mouth.

Notice how enthused Sandi's dad is about the Halloween festivities in Boise.

Trolling for prey. (I wish Sandi had made a fake little rat for Eve to put in her mouth, but I guess that isn't really "cute" and "crossed a line.")

Black Eye

This is something that happened a while ago, but is still worth mentioning. It was a Monday and Mike and I were headed up to his family's cabin to stain the dang thing. Yes, that is right, I stained a cabin. It was a daunting sounding task but didn't end up being too bad. And now it is glistening and shiny (sorry we failed to take before/after pics). It was a stressful day because we were trying to leave by noon so we could get up there and get started and we were running late. To top it off, I was supposed to pick up a prescription on the way out and when I went to get it, it turns out that there was a mess up in communication between the Dr.'s office and pharmacy. Then the Dr.'s office was closed for lunch when the pharmacy tried to call them, so we had to go back home and wait for about an hour and a half. I was very frustrated. Finally I got the call that my order was ready and we headed over to pick it up and then immediately head up to the cabin. We were driving Mike's brother's truck which was packed full of scaffolding which was sticking out the passenger side of the truck bed. When we got to the store Mike parked about as far away as he could it seemed ( I know he did this because of said scaffolding being in the truck bed, but I was still somewhat annoyed). So at this point, I am agitated and just want to get in and out as fast as possible. I jumped out the door and turned to head toward the store. What I failed to do was look up from the pavement and BLAM, I ran straight into the scaffolding and it knocked me straight to the ground. Mike had no idea this had happened and started to adjust his parking job. For a moment I thought I was going to get run over, but luckily he didn't get too close to me. So that is how I got my first black eye. I really hope someone saw me run into the scaffolding because it had to be hilarious. Also of note, is that my dad had gotten a black eye only a week or so before (although his was much much worse). The End. Now for the pictures.

Also, there was an addendum added to the bottom of the last blog post, so for those who haven't read that, I would recommend checking that out. Oh, and I will try and put up some more pics of the little one sometime this week, so you can all wait with great anticipation for that.
