Sleepy Jean

This morning I was trying to help my mom with some things on the computer while Eve was playing in the other room. I realized I hadn't heard her in a while and turned around to see her asleep on the floor. It was just too cute so I snapped a few pics for your enjoyment.

Notice the sock clenched in her fist, this girl loves to play with her shoes and socks, which unfortunately means she does more of eating them than wearing them (to my displeasure). And while I am here, she is 8 months old today so I ought to jot down a few things Eve has going on right now, they are as follows: she loves to army crawl everywhere, loves paper or plastic of any sort (so long as it crinkles), has one little tooth (her new nickname: sharp tooth), and also loves to splash in the water. Oh, and she is the best baby ever, so sorry to all you peeps out there that got the shaft with your babies, thems the breaks yo.

Belated Carving

For various reasons, we were unable to carve pumpkins until, oh last night. Each year (at least for the past couple) we have had a theme for our pumpkins, and this year's theme was cartoons. I did a take, or at least as best as I could, on "Pinky and the Brain," (youtube it) and Sandi did her take on "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." (If you are brave, you can try and guess which turtle Sandi intended.) Oh, and the disparity in pumpkins is because Sandi used one that her parents grew, and I used one that my mom had purchased for a centerpiece.

Technical difficulties.Sandi also carved "Turtle Power" in the back to ensure that there was enough oxygen.

And that's it. Enjoy.
