Arboretum

We went to the U of I Arboretum the other day and had fun just enjoying the weather, walking around and taking pictures. Below are a few of the pictures we took. The football guy however is not from the arboretum but the old gym on campus. Anyhow enjoy the pics!

Looking out over the arboretum.

Our little smiler.

Mike shot this one and it makes me excited for the summer.

Not so smiley but still super cute.

Wildlife photography at its best.

Another view of the arboretum.

Aforementioned football guy.

She just looks too cute in that hoodie.

Me and a tree.

JD and Sweetums

We have had a couple of big accomplishments in our family this past week. First and most importantly, Mike is now graduated from law school! Congrats Mikey, we are so proud of you. It is crazy how fast the time has gone. For now we will be staying up in Moscow as he studies for the bar. We have made a lot of great friends up here in Moscow and it is sad to see them moving away. Below are some pictures of the great Michael Archibald, J.D. on his graduation day. (Thanks Mom and Dad and Kent and Elaine for supporting our family!)

The Hood.

The beauty that is the Kibbie Dome.

The other great accomplishment in our family is that Eve is now 2 months old (doesn't take quite as much effort as a law degree) and we are loving her more every day. She is a really good baby; she spent a couple of weeks not wanting to go to sleep until 2-3 AM but now she usually sleeps from 11PM to 7AM....Booyah! (This makes me extremely happy). Anyhow she has a ton of nicknames, they are as follows in no particular order: Sweetums, Evie, fuzzy little polar bear (or any animal that is on her clothes), The Little One, TLO (abbreviated version of the previous, and which starts me in singing a random song from ELO. Yes, we are weird.), Night Demon (during the 2 weeks of not sleeping this was our fav. nickname), and fuzzy head. I admit that I use her nicknames more than Mike, he calls her Eve more than I do. Also she has really started to smile a lot more just this past week which has been really fun. Anyhow, below are also some more current pics of Eve.

(This is Mike now sneaking into Sandi's post. She made this sweet (no pun intended) cake for a friend's baby shower. She'll be selling them for cash in no time!)
