Belated Update

And thus begins the quarterly blog update from our neck of the woods.  This summer has been full of lots of fun and travel.  First, we took a trip to Yellowstone with the Pearces.  Eve was not nearly as excited to see the animals as we thought she would be.  Of course, we didn't see that many.

I don't know what Carson has going on, but it really completes the picture.  Sandi took this next couple of pictures in preparation of the great Archibald treasure hunt.

She'll get the glasses straight some day. 

 Eve did not win any medals in this year's Ball reunion race, but she actually made it over the finish line.

And I beat my cousin Michelle.  But also only received the participant's popsicle as usual.  After the reunion tour we went to Red Fish Lake with Sandi's family again.  

Eve loves the dirt at the campsite.  This was taken within an hour of us getting there.

Eve had a good time with Lily at Alturas Lake while Grandpa and uncle Nate fished, even if it was freezing. 

And if you're in the Western US, this is part of the reason everything has been so smokey, and one of several  fires we saw between Stanley and Boise.
